Totally blown away by reading of Fred's passing. It's been way too long since I reached out to see what happened to my old friend. Fred and I roomed together at Phi Delt at Penn and shared great times together. Just thought of him as our beloved Sixers went down on a last second shot yesterday. We played ball together, listened to music, "busted glass" with Tommy and Lon (and Morty), played with Khyber, and did other crazy youthful things. Sounds like he was happy in his life to the end- he wouldn't have it any other way. Condolences to the whole Jacobs family. RIP brother. Love, Frack (Mike Pascavage)

I have a general memory of Fred. Over the many years that I’ve known Fred & Janine, he was always a sweet, very kind & gentle man! When Fred talked about his beloved wife, Janine & their son, his face would light up with happiness. I’m so sorry for your loss, Janine & Zach.
